Peg and Tim Pinckard's RV Travels

Come travel with us!

We are Tim and Peg Pinckard and have been married for 37 years.  We have two beautiful daughters and 4 grandchildren.  In June 2006 we sold our 3000 sq ft home and bought a 2006 35 ½ ft  Hitchhiker 5th wheel.  We left Connecticut on June 30, 2006 and have traveled for the last 7 months enjoying every minute.  We will be going back and forth across the county as we have one daughter in connecticut and one in California.  What better way to see them as we wish.  We always dreamed of doing this – we always camped and loved seeing this country.  Tim spent 20 years in the military and we got to see so much of this beautiful country.  We camped across the United States back in 1974 and had so many wonderful memories that we wanted to make this a part of our lives in retirement.  Come and enjoy our travels with us.

Yesterday was a good day for getting our chores done.  We went grocery shopping at Big Y - this is a grocery chain just in Connecticut and Massachusetts which is a beautiful store.   Meat is super and produce also.  We also got 3 loads of laundry done, things packed and all set to hit the road.  We have been here much to long and looking forward to moving on.

Last night at dinner time Dan came to visit with Tim.  They talked for hours and enjoyed the visit.  Keep reading our blog Dan - we can count on you.

I got to talk to Amanda, Susan, Emily and Julia last night so I was in my glory.  Will be glad when Makenzie can talk also but that will be awhile.  Hard to believe she will be 1 on the 18th of September.  She is ready to walk - loves to try and go up the stairs and just smiles as you catch her.

We went to the credit union today and then to Nordstrom's to shop.  I was able to get another bathing suit just like the one I have, a beach coverup and a nice blouse.  With my gift certificates it cost me $22 so I loved that.  Tim just sat in a comfortable chair while I shopped.

Stopped at Dunkin Donuts and got Coffee coolatta - gosh are they good.  We also stopped and got gas so we are now all set for tommorow morning departure.  Yea!!!!!!

Early to bed tonight - safe travels tommorow.  Until then
