Yogi Bear Jellystone Fremont, IN

This was a very expensive campground and only had space for us for one night, unless we wanted to go to the overflow field, at these prices 1 night was enough. After entering the campground and setting up, it became clear why the cost was high. Many, many, many kids, lots of things for kids to do and a large staff to manage it all. Most impressive.

this was one of the signs at the miniature golf. It had the name and place so I shot it as a reminder of where the pictures were taken.

Our one night stand —- It must have been a seasonal site at one time otherwise I can not explain the wooden platform.

<IMG src="/images/27083-25735/Yogibare001_1.jpg”>
Just behind our site was this big water slide, very active, with 3 different sides.

<IMG src="/images/27083-25735/Yogibare002_1.jpg”>

The laundromat was just to the left of the water slide. Not much to speak of here, 4 machines and 2 of them broken.

<IMG src="/images/27083-25735/Yogibare004_1.jpg”>

Now here is where you can see the reason for the cost, 2 outdoor pools. this one for water basketball and volleyball.

<IMG src="/images/27083-25735/Yogibare005.jpg”>

This large water park area for kids of all ages. As you can see in the next few shots I had a ball taking pictures here.

<IMG src="/images/27083-25735/Yogibare006.jpg”>

These were really cool, no pun intended, the one the boys are playing in water fills up the thing, the only thing I can think to call it, and it rotates dumping the water, then back to fill up again. The pink thing is a large version of a mushroom that has water coming out of the center an cascading down its side.

<IMG src="/images/27083-25735/Yogibare007.jpg”>

Another shot of the mushroom and this little guy is waiting for the thing to spit on him.

<IMG src="/images/27083-25735/Yogibare008.jpg”>

Another mushroom and the guys on the right are operating a water cannon, really neat, I could have fun with that.

<IMG src="/images/27083-25735/Yogibare009.jpg”>
Here comes the water, is that animal tiring to spit on ME?

<IMG src="/images/27083-25735/Yogibare010.jpg”>
Here we have little bouncy swings for the toddlers.

<IMG src="/images/27083-25735/Yogibare011.jpg”>

Water sprays in all directions but is very well contained in the designated area, so you can walk around and not get wet unless you want to. If they had this where we are now, I would definitely be sitting in the middle of it, (101 today, feels like 109″

<IMG src="/images/27083-25735/Yogibare012.jpg”>
Here is tha main refreshment building, containing a store, snack bar, lounge are with a big screen TV, and tables to sit an eat your goodies. Very clean and well maintained.

<IMG src="/images/27083-25735/Yogibare013.jpg”>

And not stopping there they have an indoor pool for those that do not like the sun

<IMG src="/images/27083-25735/Yogibare014.jpg”>

and a very nice size. It looks like not too many people dislike the sun.

<IMG src="/images/27083-25735/Yogibare015.jpg”>

Did I mention, they have a lake? Well they do and you can rent regular boats and paddle wheels.

<IMG src="/images/27083-25735/Yogibare016.jpg”>
Looking back at the main building and indoor pool from the end of the dock, and there is Peg.

<IMG src="/images/27083-25735/Yogibare017.jpg”>
A very nicely landscaped area with foot bridge over a little stream

<IMG src="/images/27083-25735/Yogibare018.jpg”>
Outdoor deck area of the main building

<IMG src="/images/27083-25735/Yogibare020.jpg”>
Miniature golf —— 4 —–

<IMG src="/images/27083-25735/Yogibare021.jpg”>

the campground is quite large and has many playgrounds sprinkled around, each having a different look and feel.

<IMG src="/images/27083-25735/Yogibare022.jpg”>
Here is another one

<IMG src="/images/27083-25735/Yogibare027.jpg”>

Volley ball court — kids were having a lot of fun even though it was a little warm

<IMG src="/images/27083-25735/Yogibare023.jpg”>
Each area had its own bathhouse, Peg had to use one and thought it needed cleaning.

<IMG src="/images/27083-25735/Yogibare024.jpg”>

A lot of seasonal and some fix up their sites and some just stay there and do nothing most in the section had docks or direct access to the lake.

<IMG src="/images/27083-25735/Yogibare025.jpg”>
Perfect example of “Take a kid fishing”, not sure if all those were his or not, but looked good. I also like the reflection.

<IMG src="/images/27083-25735/Yogibare026.jpg”>
Now here is some excitement, I don’t believe this boy had ever caught a fish before and just was not sure what to do with it now!!!!!!!

<IMG src="/images/27083-25735/Yogibare028.jpg”>

It was Christmas in July and I think these folks got a little carried away.
