April 2013

April started us off in the Naval Weapons Station in Goose Creek, South Carolina.  We enjoyed visiting with the family, church, shopping, soccer games, Movies, dance competitions, taxes, touring, doctors, medical tests and visiting with friends.

One day we went to the Children’s Museum in downtown Charleston.  This museum lets the kids explore, play, learn and discover in one building.  They love to play store, paint pictures, climb on the pirate ship and love the Medieval Castle.  All is all a fun day.

While here we learned that Tim has a problem with his left eye ad needed to visit a cornea specialist.  He will be returning quite often so we should be here quite awhile.

One day we took a ride to Edisto Island where we had never been.  It is truly a beautiful place but so far from everything.  We toured the Edisto Beach State Park which was very nice – camping at the beach would be heaven for me.

During this month we went to have our taxes done and guess what – they said we would get $500 back but we had to pay that for getting them done.  I said no way and walked out.  I did the taxes myself and got my refund from the IRS.

When you stay in one place for along time you just do what everyone else does – grocery shop, clean, cook, read etc.

That rounds out April
